First prize for Pomisgasse / Draisgasse

Our proposal for Pomisgasse / Draisgasse in Graz received first prize in the urban design assessment procedure.

The project transforms the site into a car-free, park-like residential neighbourhood. A series of point buildings extends the landscape of the nearby Schönaupark into the site, while a stronger urban edge along Raiffeisenstraße introduces housing, communal spaces and active ground-floor uses.

A generous pedestrian and cycle connection forms the centre of the new neighbourhood, linking housing, landscape and public space.

Less traffic, more neighbourhood. A reasonable trade.
